The grader role is reserved for people other than instructors, such as teaching assistants, who are responsible for manually grading student work, adjusting credit for existing assignments or conducting one-on-one sessions with students to review questions that may have be problematic.
Instructors can add existing Connect users as graders as well as invite new graders. New graders will have to create Connect accounts. Instructors will set grader permissions by providing them access to the gradebook and to attempts accessed through reports.
Graders can be added, removed or otherwise managed at any time from the gradebook options menu.
Instructors who teach courses with large numbers of students will find the grader role especially useful.
