Paulette Kurzer is Professor of Political Science at the University of Arizona. She has widely published on the topics of the European Union and comparative political economy. She is the author of two books Markets and Moral Regulation: Cultural Change in Europe (Cambridge University Press, 2001) and Business and Banking (Cornell University Press, 1993) and she is the co-editor of Public Health European and Global Trends (Routledge, 2013).

Professor Kurzer has been a member of the American Political Science Association Professional Ethics committee and has been Treasurer of the European Union Studies Association. Professor Kurzer is currently the Director of the online Master of Arts degree in International Security Studies at the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona.
